I've been to Artopolis on several occasions and have never been disappointed. <br/><br/>Though I've never tried on of their pastries I always spend a few minutes staring at them through the glass window. All nestled together are 50 or so different types of pure sugar goodness. <br/><br/>Artopolis is also one of the few places in the city where you can get a vanilla chai latte, reason enough to make it a worthy stop!
Artopolis has some of the tastiest looking pastries I've ever seen. They're also really gorgeous, which doesn't make your decision process easier! Artopolis is a family owned Mediterranean cafe full of delicious home baked goods like giant cupcakes and chocolate indulging desserts. Though I resisted temptation and opted for a Moccha Latte, I highly recommend trying one of their desserts as well. My latte was unexpectedly perfect - rich in chocolate, creamy in texture, and soothing in warmth. It was obviously delicious and inexpensive, a great break-time snack before I continued my trek along the Upper West Side. The staff was friendly and conversational and helpful in my decision making too! I'd definitely go back to buy not just a drink, but a dessert-enduced meal too!
Artopolis is a European owned shop in the Upper West Side that serves an expansive array of desserts and pastries. The place has outside open seating fit for warm weather with friendly staff to help. The inside is colorful and pretty and you can't help but notice all their wonderful delicacies. But they also serve real food such as soups and sandwiches if you're in the mood for something more filling.
Artopolis is one of the best places to go for a great dessert on in the Upper West Side. When walking inside, you will immediately see a glass cabinet that shows samples of all of Artopolis's delicious cakes, which will make you think twice on what you thought you would order. In addtion to cakes, there is a wide selection of tasty pastries, a few entrees, coffee and gelato ice cream. After receiving your food, there are many different seating options to enjoy your meal or dessert, which include booths, elevated tables and a sidewalk cafe. Defintiely a great place to meet up with friends for a dessert or to be alone with a coffee and a book.
