  This week in Cairo, Egyptians celebrate cultural arts with the Sphinx Festival . It is a celebration of all things Egyptian, including the pyramids, clothing, the Sphinx, tours, camel rides, and more.   The Sphinx Festival runs from December 1st through December 5th, providing live entertainment and seminars each evening. This year the festival is being held at Le Meridien Pyramids in Cairo. Festival attendees get to learn about Egyptian art, dance, music, culture and philosophy. T he aim of the event is to explore deeper levels of the arts of Egypt and beyond. This is a wonderful global festival that honors ancient cultures.    The Sphinx festival not only signifies Egyptian history, but also is a fun, intimate event for both locals and tourists.
