Almost nightly I sit behind my laptop and drool over New York Magazine's Grub Street and the rest of my foodie blogs. And with every blog post I wish that much more I lived in NYC so that I could be immersed into this amazing food culture.   Those who know me know I'm a total fat kid (don't take offense to this!) - I love good 'ol greasy, yumtacular cheap grub and lots of it. Some of you who know me might be thinking "but you're so picky!" and to that I say... DEAL! I like certain foods, and those foods that I like, I want more of. Sure, I'm not the most "cultured" foodie but I could honestly care less. I'm not about impressing you, I'm about EATING TASTY FOOD. So in this post, I'd like to share with you some articles I've read tonight about food spots in NYC in the hopes that you fellow Sosaucin New Yorkers will join me in a foodie adventure sometime soon. Try not to drool yourselves:   Grub Street's 2009 "Best of NY: Food"   Diddy asks: Who's better: Popeyes vs. KFC?   Mario Batali & co. search for the best NY pizzas   Greenpoint's Mark Bar hosts lengthy happy hour and mac 'n chz competition   Brooklyn restaurants join up for their own "Restaurant Week"   Unnecessarily delicious and fattening foods people eat: This Is Why You're Fat.com   Big Apple BBQ Block Party hits this summer   First Burgers & Cupcakes, now pizza & cupcakes ?!   (for an extended list of my fave picks add me on Google Reader )
