since i've started working in nyc again i've been determined to try something new every week. this can be a new restaurant, new type of food, or new food category. but my goal is to not eat at the same place more than once.    so the guys at sosauce are helping me out. so far i've had burgers and pizza to eat in the last month (no complaints there believe me) but this time we went a bit more.. exotic i guess. low and behold i had my 1st bit of Thai food for lunch this past friday!   i'm really proud of myself because i'm a picky eater and don't really like any food that isn't american or italian. so after much hesitation, i did it.   i ordered chicken satay and it was very tasty. i enjoyed how simple the dish was but also how surprisingly sweet it was. i'm a big fan of peanut butter so i really dug the peanut butter sauce, and the accompanying clear sauce was really unusual but good! overall, i enjoyed a new, inexpensive meal courtesy of nyc takeout. once again proving that this city has the best food on earth. i'd like to thank jeff for convincing me to try this, good job food bud!   if you're a new yorker yourself, feel free to suggest me my next lunch for this week :)
