Ever wanted to take your public Sosauce content (trips, journals, albums, photos) and post a beautiful preview of it on another site? You can do it with Sosauce Embeds! Previews of Photo, Journal, and Trip embeds So what exactly is an embed? For the layman, an embed is merely a method of taking a piece of content (photo, video, journal entry, trip, etc.) and inserting it as a self-contained unit on another website such as your personal blog, or Facebook. How do I embed a trip, journal, album, or photo? To obtain an embed code (embedding requires you to copy and paste a section of html code) you must click the Share button found on the viewing page of any piece of content on Sosauce To learn more about the Share button, including its specific locations, view this entry ). Keep in mind the privacy of this content must be public in order for the embed feature to be available. The above panel will appear when you click the Share button, and you can see the embed code and a link to a preview of what the embed will look like. Simply copy the code in order to paste it on a third party site. Wherever you are able to access or edit html on a page, you can insert a Sosauce embed code. Many sites even provide fields in which you can directly insert an embed code.
