It is a madhouse here in New York City today. Yankee fans have officially invaded lower Manhattan and our Internet seems to be getting worse by the hour. But we will power through no matter what!
Despite a shaky Friday morning, this week has been great for us. From possible tweetups, postcard contests, blog write ups, and photography battles, Sosauce has been in the midst of some big fun. But hey – enough of us, let us get right to our picks for This Week in Travel. Drop us a comment below with your favorite reads this week!

EuroCheapo | Autumn Colors in Barcelona
Fall foliage is still dominating our interests this season, and now it is spreading overseas too. As if Spain could not get even more beautiful, the leaves are shedding in Barcelona as well. Regina at EuroCheapo has outlined a special route for where you can catch the best sights of autumn colors in Barcelona and enjoy some Spanish snacks while taking in the scenery. I can only imagine how breathtaking the views must be!

Gadling | Top 10 Reasons Road Trips ROCK
For those of you who know the always entertaining Mike Barish, you should not be surprised at his pro-road trip argument this week on Gadling. For anyone who has experienced a bad road trip, read Mike’s list – you might want to give road tripping another shot. Amongst Mike’s list of a rocking road trip is a killer soundtrack, spontaneous breaks, and making new friendships.
Nomadic Matt | Why Americans STILL Aren’t Traveling Overseas
I personally am not shocked to read how sheltered our country is, especially when it comes to being culturally aware. Nomadic Matt tackles the apprehensions most Americans face when it comes to the idea of travel. Fear, time, money, and geography all play an important role in our minds that delay our plans to see the world, but are they really all that important? Find out what Matt thinks. Do you agree?
Enjoy the weekend everyone! For you New York City travel mates, try not to get trampled by Yankee fans today!
