Time to round up saucy articles we loved this week!
First and foremost, the Sosauce team would like to thank all our travel blogger friends for joining us on a hilarious karaoke tweetup last Friday night for the first ever #Twitaoke. It was a blast getting to bust loose with embarrassing vocals and performances to cheesy pop/rock songs, while still being able to somehow “network.” Karaoke Duet 35 will never be the same. Proof lies in the photos captured by “Round the World” Dave, Stephanie from Twenty-Something Travel, and others.
There is a lot of exciting news this week for us travelers as fun travel guides have been released, flight deals keep flying in, and cities around the world gear up for Christmas festivities. Take a look:
Travel Channel | “No Reservations” Travel Guides

I am sure I am not alone when I claim that Anthony Bourdain is my hero. His love for food (mainly pork) and adventure, with that jerk-ish personality makes him addicting to watch on television. I credit Bourdain’s trip to Spain as a huge influence on my urgent desire to travel abroad more often, with Spain being the first on my “must-see” list. Now, instead of wishing of I was traveling like Bourdain, I can actually follow his treks with the No Reservations Travel Guides! I think I just added a new item to my Christmas wish list.
Gadling | Win a Free GoGo In-Flight Internet Session
We want to do a quick shout out to Gadling. Thanks to those fine folks, Sosauce won a free GoGo in-flight Internet session this month! If you want to win some free Internet on your holiday flight, read the rules of the contest on Gadling. Now to decide who will be using up those precious online minutes. . .
Trenul Personal | Photo Blog

We have been searching all over the interweb lately for our favorite seasonal photos to share on our Tumblr page. This week, I think we have found a winner. German-based photographer, Cristian Trenul runs his own personal blog as a collection of beautiful photo essays depicting daily life in Germany. We stumbled upon a few of Cristian’s snapshots of Christmas markets that really got us pumped for the holidays. Check out his photos for yourself here.
Mike Barish | Travel Tips
One of our favorite travel writers is Mike Barish. He truly celebrates “the saucy side of travel” with hilarious tips, reviews, and stories via guest posts on Gadling as well as his own site, Mike Barish.com. We had a hard time picking which of Mike’s travel tips was the best this week, so we decided to just point you over to his entire blog for further reads. In the meantime, we’ll leave you with this photo:
Intelligent Travel | My City Celebrates
National Geographic’s travel blog, Intelligent Travel, is celebrating The World of Christmas this month. Their holiday series, “My City Celebrates” profiles various locals and what makes their cities a special place to celebrate the holidays. This is a great read if you are looking to spend time in a new destination this year. You can also submit your own entry to IT online.
Continuing with the holiday spirit, we would like to remind you about holiday shopping with Sosauce! We compiled a list of Store item favorites from our staff as a hand-picked gift guide this year. Check out the Sosauce Store and get creative with holiday gifts this season. Have fun!
