The new year is upon us and Sosauce is looking up. Though that office fire may have put a damper on our week, that won’t stop us from moving on and pursuing our goals for 2010.
The very heart of travel with Sosauce has always been about the people. We set out to build a site that fosters a learning community, allows for travel experiences to be documented and shared, and to enrich cultural exchange. We wanted to put a “social sauce” on online communication, with travel being the central connection. Sosauce.com has successfully done just that, and remains that way. Travel is what we believe in.
At our Travel Geeks blog we invite other travelers to share their own perspectives on globetrotting, whether it is taking weekend road trips, or volunteering with children across the globe. We want to continue that tradition on the Sosauce blog. So we are getting back to our roots this year – presenting the people that make travel experiences so special.
Over the next few weeks we will be introducing you all to new blog topics, as well as getting a design face lift. Expect more interviews with travel writers, cultural observation essays, and traveler spotlights, as we highlight the stories of people and observe the world through their eyes. We will, of course, still write our weekly round up of both industry and community interest articles, so be sure to participate in our This Week in Travel series. This will be an exciting change for Sosaucers everywhere!
