Ahh back to work after the new year on an early Monday morning. While everyone else was getting settled back into their work routines post-holiday break, Team Sosauce was taking in the aftermath of a building fire in New York City.

Fire Aftermath – Office Entrance View

Inside the Sosauce Office
Over the weekend our headquarters in Soho suffered a pretty severe fire that caused our office to look like a war zone. Walking into the 4th floor of our digs was shocking, heart-breaking, and depressing to say the least. Almost all our technology was damaged in the fire, while our furniture and personal items were wrecked. We all stood in the entrance with our jaws dropped and quiet thoughts looming about a game plan for recovery. There is not much we can do but wait for the building officials to handle everything.
Thankfully no one was injured in the fire and we have some data backed up but we were all hit big time with the bad news. No one knows how the fire started but our entire building was affected pretty badly. After a quick morning clean up and some hot chocolate to boost our spirits, we all parted ways to take care of business.
Thanks to all of you who sent us virtual hugs and support, we appreciate your concerns. Expect some delays in Sosauce posts as we are working remotely until further notice. On the bright side, maybe we will finally get a refurnished office!
Crappy photos thanks to cell phone shots.

So sorry for your loss. The good news is that the new year can only improve from here!
Here’s hoping Sosauce is back and kicking in no time!
Oh no! I am so sorry. Maybe some good Tweeps in NYC can come and help make it pretty again. If I was there would help!
