California always lends me such sweetness and sorrow.

I hid out in Southern California for a few weeks while the summer slowly comes to a close.

Say it isn’t so.

Sand, sun, and sunsets leave me not!

Alas, I’m back in NY, beached in Brooklyn.

Here is all the sweetness as the sorrow of bidding it farewell (until next time) sets in.
